On Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, Good Shepherd Convent, Kandy celebrated Science Day, themed "A New Beginning," bringing together students, faculty, and guests for a day filled with discovery and creativity.

The event began with a warm welcome and a thought-provoking lecture by Professor Sarath W. Kotagama, Professor Emeritus at the University of Colombo, who spoke on environmental sustainability and the future of science.

Students showcased their talents with captivating Science Dramas, highlighting the importance of teamwork and innovation in science.

The day also featured a Quiz Competition across four subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Combined Mathematics. After intense rounds, top performers were recognized and awarded.
