On the 12th of June 2025, the French Society of Good Shepherd Convent, Kandy hosted “Le Festin”, its annual French Day Workshop at St. Mary Euphrasia Hall. The event brought together students from neighboring schools for an educational celebration of the French language.

Focusing on food-related vocabulary, the workshop featured interactive games and collaborative activities that helped students strengthen their language skills in a lively, immersive setting.

Mr. Paul Rochelmagne, Director of Alliance Française de Kandy, graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

“Le Festin” successfully blended culture, language, and creativity—making it a memorable and enriching experience for all participants.
