“Kalarthana”, the Tamil Cultural Day organized by the Tamil Literary Association of Good Shepherd Convent, Kandy was held on the 4th of September 2024, Wednesday in the school main hall with all its spectrum and grandeur.

Mrs. A.R. Sathyendra, Former Additional Director of Education, Central Province graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering with an insightful message, celebrating the richness of the Tamil Language and its culture.

The stage was open for the students from Grade 6 to 13 to showcase their talents in dancing, singing, and drama, exploring the unique culture and heritage of the language. The highlight of the morning was the literary drama, “The Story of Ekalaivan” which was brought alive on stage.
