Rev. Sr. Thomas Aquinas Memorial prize the Public Speaking Competition organized by the Past Pupil’s Association Colombo branch in honour of the late Rev. Sr. Thomas Aquinas was held on the 7th March,2024 in the School Main Hall. The event will be held annually in memory of Rev. Sr. Thomas Aquinas a very inspiring and distinguished Principal of Good Shepherd Convent, Kandy. The competition was held in two categories -the senior and Intermediate and 7 finalists were selected from each category. The finals were held in the presence of three qualified judges and the winners were awarded trophies. Dr. Vihanga Perera, a lecturer of English literature at the Sri Jayawardenapura university and an excellent debater and speaker graced the occasion as the chief guest.
