A spiritually enriching event on the School Calendar, the Annual Easter Programme was held on the 22nd of March 2024 in St. Mary Euphrasia Hall at 5:00 p.m. on the theme, “The Empty Tomb……. He Lives!”. It brought to light the impactful script written by Mrs. Rita Jayatilleke, through the skilful acting of our young Shepherdians and the melodious singing of the Senior Choir, trained by Mr. Nelson George, the Choir Master.

The play highlighted the true meaning of Easter portraying the incidents of Jesus’ healing of the lepers, reminding us that miracles in our lives too are possible if we believe in Him. The service was enriched with the blessings and Easter message delivered by His Lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Valence Mendis, the Bishop of Kandy.
