The month of May, devoted to Mother Mary, is considered special to all Catholics around the globe. This year too, keeping to the traditions, the Shepherdian Family celebrated the Crowning of Our Lady on the 31st of May 2024, enthroning the Blessed Mother as the Queen of our Alma Mater and our hearts.

The chariot of Mother Mary, adorned with flowers of blue and white was taken in a solemn procession led by the School Western Band. This was followed by a Prayer Service and the Ceremonial Crowning of Our Lady at St. Mary Euphrasia Hall. The Holy Rosary and the Litany of Our Blessed Virgin Mary were recited throughout the day asking for Our Blessed Mother’s intercession.
