Birthday of Mother Foundress 2024

“May the food of my life be to work unceasingly for the glory of God and the salvation of souls.” St. Mary Euphrasia Pelletier.

The 31st of July 2024 was a day of celebrations as the school commemorated the Birthday of our Mother Foundress, St. Mary Euphrasia Pelletier- the life and legacy of a great Saint who dedicated her life to serving marginalized women and children.

The holy mass was celebrated in St. Mary Euphrasia Hall by Rev. Fr. Sagara Jayamanne and the meaningful message delivered enriched the sisters, teachers and the students spiritually. This was followed by a programme on Vocation conducted by the Community Leader, Rev. Sr. Lucina Ekanayake and the Sisters of the Good Shepherd Congregation. The students, during the programme, reflected on the life and work of our Mother Foundress and the value of serving others selflessly.
