The French day Florison 2023 was held on 13th July 2023 in the School Main hall. The Chief Guest was Miss Deshani Damaragunarathna, a very versatile past pupil of the school who works for the United Nations Global compact network, Sri Lanka. Some of the other schools were invited and competitions were held for these students in Dictation, essay writing, picture description and singing. The winners were awarded certificates on the French day. The day commenced with a Presentation on all aspects of Frrance- the cuisine, the places of historic interest and the people followed by a Welcome dance, a Can can dance and a fashion show depicting the evolution of French fashion from the 17th to the 20th century. The highlight of the day was an action-packed play commemorating Bastile day and representing the French revolution.
