The month of May, dedicated to the Blessed Mother Mary, is considered special to all Catholics around the globe. Throughout the month, our Blessed Mother is honoured with various Marian Devotions and the most important devotion has been the Ceremonial Crowning of Our Lady by the end of the month.

Keeping to the traditions, the Shepherdian Family celebrated the Crowning of Our Lady of the 26th of May 2023. The Blessed Mother was enthroned as the Queen of the Alma Mater and the Queen of our hearts on this beautiful day.

The chariot of Mother Mary adorned by the flowers of blue and white was taken in procession. This was followed by the prayer service in the School Main Hall. Prayers were offered. The message and the blessing by Rev. Fr. Kamal Andradi enriched the day’s proceedings.

The Holy Rosary and the Litany were recited throughout the day, paying homage to our Blessed Mother and asking for her intercession.
