The Teachers’ Day of Good Shepherd Convent Kandy was celebrated on the 4th of October 2019. Teachers’ Day has been celebrated, since 1962 in honor and respect of the contributions made by countless numbers of teachers.

On this day the teachers of Good Shepherd Convent Kandy were accompanied to the Basketball Court by the School Western Music Band. The teachers were gifted with a flower and a token of appreciation by the students assembled.

A short time of fellowship followed afterwards. The Principal Rev. Sr. Chandrika Perera addressed all the Teachers, with her inspiring message. She thanked all the teachers, for their dedicated devoted service rendered to the school. Teachers were appreciated with a token of gratitude by the Principal.
