“The roman world encounter the world of Jesus”

The Ester play was held on the 17th of March 2018 at st. Euphrasia’s Hall.

Very Rev. Fr. Bala Rajendran, Episcopal Vicar, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

The Easter paly along with the presence of the choir is a prominent event in the shepherdian calendar.

This year’s Easter play was staged with the thematic background of love and warmth felt between Magdala and Procila the wife of Pontius Pilate. The play written after careful consideration of the original incident was a creation of Mrs. Rita Jayathilake. It had moments where the audience felt silent with tears in their eyes. It moved the crowd with the true spirit of Easter.
