All Souls Day, is a day of alms giving and prayers for the dead. The intent is for the living to assist those in purgatory. On this day people take time to decorate the graves of the deceased loved ones and light candles in their memory.

“All Souls Day”, of Good Shepherd Convent was celebrated on the 2nd of November 2018. Holy Mass was celebrated at St. Euprasia’s Hall for the Catholic students of the collegiate school, by Rev. Fr. Roshan Claude Almeida, the Rector of St. Joseph’s Minor Seminary, Poornawatte.

Holy Mass was celebrated at the convent chapel for the primary school students, by the presence of Rev. Fr. Camillus D. Jansz, Director of the Diocesan Catechetical Centre & Parish Priest of St. Xavier’s Church, Kadugannawa.
