UTHPRAEKSHA 2017

A person's imagination is unlimited to create a piece of imaginary music through screen music; a person should possess a serene mind to listen.

'Uthpreksha' 2017, invites people not to merely be observers to absorb the creative mind it demonstrates into their souls and to let it out creatively by themselves.

The well-known musician Nadeeka Guruge was the Chief Guest.
The main highlights of the programme were,
• A debut song composed by Sanjana Koralage of Grade 13.
• The releasing of the novel by Chalani Bandar of Grade 11.
• A ballad released by Rashini Samarasinghe

Finally, with commitment and carefully drafting out the dialogues to suit the young Shepherdians, a drama called “Daskam Viskam”, was play written by the Principal Rev. Sr. Chandrika Perera, which was enacted by the students, brightened up the audience with its live and exceptional performance.

The Chief Guest, Nadeeka Guruge was impressed. When addressing the gathering in his speech, he appreciated the performance of the young shepherdians and the time management to keep up the flow of events.
