Christmas Carol 2015

The Annual Carol service “The Road to Bethlehem” was held on 6th December 2015 at 5.30 p.m. in the School Main Hall. The Christmas message was by His Lordship, Rt.Rev.Dr.Vianney Fernando, Bishop of Kandy.
It was an experience deeply rooted in the events of Bible, filled with awe, reverence and inspiration. Through song, drama and dance by the angels, the road to Bethlehem was brought to life.
The senior choir with 37 Choristers, the Junior Choir with 36 Choristers and 24 girls with 10 Angels participated in the drama. The senior Choir was trained by Mr.Neson George. Drama by Mrs.Rita Jayathilake. Junior choir by Mrs.Merlyndra Wijerathne. Mr. Nilan Maligaspe assisted with the training of the dance. Pianist - Mrs.Denali De Silva Wijerathne.

When the song of the angels is stilled, When the star in the sky is gone
When the kings and princes are home, When the Shepherds are back with the flock
The work of Christmas begins-
To find the lost, To heal the broken,
To feed the hungry, To release the prisoner,
To re-build the nations’ To bring peace among others,
